Need help with my heat recovery ventilator
      General Discussions
My Venmar E15 ECM HRV (heat recovery ventilator) isn't working. I think the problem is in its wall control. I have a new one, and a replacement for the circuit board in the HRV, should it need that, but I am not an electrician and I would probably mess something up trying to DIY this. I would also like to talk to someone who knows how this HRV works about simplifying its controls: a simple on-off and high-low switches might suit the way I use it better. If you know how to help me with this I'd appreciate your call. 971-352-2948

      Lamp
      Small Appliance Repair
I tried to replace a socket on a small lamp. As far as I can tell I did the basic steps correctly - connecting the wires to the correct screws. Pictures below When I replaced the cover and tried plugging it in it blew a fuse. Any ideas of what could cause that or what to be checking?

Classic toaster, an iron, and an electric kettle.
      Small Appliance Repair
..got one of each that need fixing. Toaster doesnt toast, only warms. The iron has different settings it doesn’t register, but irons clothing fine. The electric kettle light comes on only if the element is touching a very precise way-can’t figure out if something is bent or ..what. any info as to where to take these things to be fiddled with would be appreciated!
